How do I register?

You may be able to choose which team you are in and, as far as possible, we will try to accommodate any requests to play with friends.

For detailed instructions on how to register through Football Federation Australia’s My Football Club national online registration system, please see our registration page. When registering, nominate North Sydney United as your club.

Before you start the registration process, make sure that you have obtained any Active Kids Voucher numbers that you are eligible for.

After you have registered, an Age Coordinator or Team Manager will be in touch with you to let you know about training and other arrangements.

Active Kids voucher

From 31st January 2018, the NSW Government will allocate $207 million over four years to establish Active Kids, a program to help NSW families meet the cost of getting their kids into sport and active fitness and recreation activities.

Who is eligible to claim the $100 voucher?

Every child (4.5 – 18 years’ old) enrolled in school from Kindergarten to Year 12 will be eligible for an Active Kids Voucher. This includes those who are home-schooled or enrolled in secondary school education at TAFE NSW.

You can use your $100 voucher against your North Sydney United registration fees.

Prior to registration you will need to obtain your voucher code from Service NSW as you will need this to include in your registration. The link below gives full details of the program and explains how to obtain the voucher code to get your discount:

Please note that if players register in full with North Sydney United and DO NOT use the voucher code, we will be unable to refund them the $100 – this is a rebate from the NSW Government and not a discount from the club. You will however still be able to use your valid code with another sport for your child.

How much does it cost for the season?

The registration fees for all age groups can be found here. The fee typically includes:

playing strip – shirt, shorts and socks
registration for the competition
affiliation fees to NSFA, Football NSW and FFA
up to 24 weeks of training (subject to weather conditions and ground allocations)
training ground hire
refereeing fees.

The fee does not include football boots or shin pads. These can be bought from our sponsor Olympus Sports in Neutral Bay who offer a discount to North Sydney United players.

What about training?

Training takes place once a week for social teams (more often for Development Squads). Please check the training schedules page.
